Important dates

Here are a few reminders:

Wednesday, May 11 - zoo money is due
Thursday, May 19 - zoo trip
Friday, May 20 - graduation, 2:00 pm
Wednesday, May 25 - last day of school, excused at 11:00
- field day, most of the morning

Shoe tieing

All first grade students are expected to tie their own shoes. We kindergarteners have been practicing, but many of your children need help learning at home. Have fun this summer.

Gerbil

Princess, our class gerbil, needs a home for the summer. She comes with a clean cage with all the accessories, and a container of food. I would like her to return next Fall. If you can look after her, let me know.

Graduation

Graduation will be on Friday, May 20, at 2:00 pm. in the gym. Refreshments will follow in the cafeteria. Parents and other guests are welcome. Children will be excused after refreshments. Students who need to stay til the end of the day will be supervised by home room teachers. Kindergarteners will be expected to attend school all the next week.

Field Trip

Our final field trip will be to the zoo. It will be Thursday, May 19, from 8:45 - 1:00. Permission forms will be handed out 2 weeks prior to the trip.
